Gene Fischer has extensive experience in technical support and management, with over two decades in the IT field. Currently, Gene serves as the Manager of Technical Support at Gap, overseeing IT teams at Gap Distribution Centers since June 2002. Prior to this role, Gene worked at IBM from July 2008 to March 2015 as a Team Lead, providing hardware and software support for Gap Distribution Centers. Gene's earlier experience includes network support roles at Wyatt, Tarrant and Combs, PLL, and Keating, Muething and Klekamp, PLL, where technical support was provided to law firms. Gene began a career in project management at Automated Retail Systems from 1992 to 1998, managing various retail accounts focused on point of sale systems installations, programming, and training in Washington state.
