Rhena Beth Mateo-Caniyas

Rhena Beth M. has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Rhena Beth currently serves as the Professional Services Manager at Gappify, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to their role at Gappify, Rhena worked at NICE CXone as a Professional Services Manager from November 2021 to February 2023. Before that, they worked at GDS Link Asia for two years as a Project Coordinator and General Manager, where they managed personnel, assigned leaders and developers to projects, and set up project frameworks.

Rhena also gained experience as the Chief Operating Officer at Key Innovations Inc. PH from April 2018 to August 2019. Rhena Beth has a background in project management as well, having worked as a Project Manager at eData Philippines, Lucent, and Glyph Studios. Their responsibilities included translating business goals into project scope, plans, and actions, supporting multiple projects, and communicating project priorities.

Earlier in their career, Rhena served as the Software Development Manager at EVI DISTRIBUTION, INC., where they led a team of programmers in delivering AV Control Systems. Rhena Beth also worked as a Programmer and Systems Analyst at the International Rice Research Institute and as a Software Engineer at Job and Esther Technologies.

In addition to their professional experience, Rhena has also served as a College Professor at Union Christian College, Philippines. Overall, Rhena has a strong background in project management, professional services, and software development.

Rhena Beth M. holds a Master's degree in IT, which they obtained from the University of the Cordilleras. Rhena Beth pursued this degree from 2008 to 2010. Prior to their Master's degree, Rhena Beth M. completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Union Christian College in the Philippines. Rhena Beth attended this institution from 1996 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Rhena Beth M. has obtained several certifications. These include "Recognizing and Rewarding Your Workers" and "Humble Leadership: The Power of Relationships, Openness, and Trust," both from LinkedIn, in June 2022 and May 2022 respectively. Rhena Beth also obtained certifications in "Building Your Visibility as a Leader" from LinkedIn in November 2021, and "Diploma in Operations Management (Ops)" from Alison - Empower Yourself in November 2021. Prior to these certifications, they completed "Wireshark Essential Training" and "Microsoft Power Automate Essential Training" from LinkedIn in September 2021 and July 2021 respectively.
