Loreto Ares

Loreto Ares is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, e-learning, and cultural organization. Currently serving as Digital Project Manager at Garaje de ideas since June 2022, Ares previously held the role of E-learning Project Manager at arenet from March 2017 to June 2022. A freelance contributor in writing and journalism from November 2015 to June 2022, Ares also designed and evaluated workshops on consent for the Working Group on Consent between September 2014 and November 2019. Additional roles include cultural management at Fundación Triángulo, research and training at Plataforma Somateca in the Museo Nacional Reina Sofía, and co-organizing the Palestinian Film Festival with Asociación Handala. Ares possesses a strong academic background with degrees in Communication and Media Studies, Journalism, and a PhD in Media Studies from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, alongside further studies in project management and Islam and Arab Studies.
