Selena Tezel

Selena Tezel is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Investment Banking & Finance Senior Associate at Garanti BBVA, focusing on project and acquisition finance since September 2023. Prior to this role, Selena worked as an Analyst in the Global Investment Research Division at Goldman Sachs, where responsibilities included econometric modeling and economic forecasting for the CEEMEA region. Previous positions include Financial Risk Management Consultant at Prometeia, Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and various internships, including a role at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. Selena holds a Master of Research in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, attended the Barcelona School of Economics, and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Boğaziçi University.
