Katie Johns

Katie Johns is an accomplished Art Director currently at Curious Plot since December 2024, with a diverse background in design roles spanning several years. In addition to the Art Director position, Katie has served as a Marketing and Brand Designer at Gardner Builders since June 2021, and was previously employed as a Graphic Designer at Metre and broadhead., where responsibilities included art direction and design. Katie began a career in design as a Digital Production Artist at Martin Williams Advertising, following an internship in the same capacity. Early experiences include roles at The BioTechnology Institute, BDO Alliance USA, The Shinebox, and The Minnesota Daily, with internships contributing to foundational skills. Katie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2017.
