Charles Fonseca

Charles Fonseca is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development, API creation, and cloud computing. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Gardyn since July 2022, Charles focuses on resilient API development while also contributing to frontend tasks and Azure cloud services. As a Co-Founder of InDev Brasil since February 2023, Charles plays a pivotal role in the company's operations. Previously, as a Lead Software Engineer at willow | we are hiring, Charles led API construction and managed Google Cloud infrastructure, achieving significant platform enhancements. Additional roles include Software Engineer at Lett, where Charles developed APIs for the retail sector, and Junior Software Engineer at Sensedia, contributing to the launch of the PIX payment system, facilitating over USD 250 million in transactions. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of London and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from PUC Minas, along with a Nanodegree in Data Engineering from Udacity.
