Matthew McDermott

Matt Mcdermott has extensive experience in leadership and management within the roofing and construction industries. Currently serving as President at The Garland Company, Inc. since January 2011, Matt has held multiple roles including Vice President and Marketing Manager. Prior to this, Matt was VP/Partner at Academy Roofing & Sheet Metal of FL, Inc. from January 2007 to December 2010 and also served at Academy Roofing & Sheet Metal Co. from January 2004 to January 2009 in a similar capacity. Early career experience includes working as Estimator/Vice President Sales at Parsons Concrete Contractors from January 2002 to January 2004. Matt's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from William Penn University and advanced studies at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
