Mia Chism

Mia Chism, M.Ed, is an experienced educator currently serving as a First Grade Teacher at Garland Independent School District, where the focus is on creating an inclusive learning environment and providing targeted instruction. With a background that includes teaching roles at Plano ISD and Oklahoma City Public Schools, Mia has demonstrated expertise in data analysis to inform instruction, effective classroom management, and collaboration with colleagues. Additional experience includes leadership and curriculum development positions, along with a strong foundation in educational support and a history in marketing analysis. Mia Chism holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma.
