Joshua Plitt has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Joshua started working at GE Energy as a Co-op Student from August 2003 to August 2005. Joshua then joined Cummins Inc., where they held positions such as Senior Product Design/Development Engineer, Senior Application Engineer, and Product Development Engineer from June 2006 to November 2012. Following that, they worked at Rolls-Royce as an Integrated Project Team Lead & Technical Program Manager from December 2012 to August 2017. Since September 2017, they have been associated with Garrett - Advancing Motion and Garrett/Honeywell Turbo Technologies, holding roles including Turbocharger Application Engineer, Turbocharger Application Engineer III, Senior Engineer in Turbocharger Application & Development, and currently serving as the Engineering Manager and Lead Engineer for Commercial Vehicles. Joshua Plitt completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Design for Six-Sigma (DFSS) as a Green Belt from Cummins Inc. in June 2010, and in Design for Six-Sigma Hardware as a Green Belt from Garrett - Advancing Motion in June 2021.
