Rainer Doerpmund

Rainer Doerpmund is the Customer Engineering Director at Garrett - Advancing Motion since December 2022. Previously, Rainer served as the Applications Engineering Director at Litens Automotive Group, focusing on powertrain components development, from September 2013 to December 2022. Rainer also held the position of Director of Technology at Litens, emphasizing powertrain research and development through market research and customer engagement. Prior experience includes notable roles at Delphi from September 1998 to September 2013, encompassing Engineering Manager and Program Manager positions focused on the development of thermal systems and OEM thermal system platforms. Rainer began their career at Litens Automotive Group in various engineering roles from September 1995 to August 1998. Rainer holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Maschinenbau from Leibniz Universität Hannover and an MBA from NIMBAS, Bradford - Graduate School of Management.
