Carine Lopez Velazquez

Carine Lopez Velazquez is the AVP of HR at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. Carine has over 10 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on benefits administration, employee engagement, and compliance. Prior to their current role, Carine was the Human Resource Specialist at Chatham Emergency Services, where they created a fire recruit school, designed and implemented a health and wellness program, and processed terminations and separation notices. Carine is passionate about their work and is dedicated to helping their team succeed.

Carine Lopez Velazquez has a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from Bellevue University, a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Public Administration from the University of West Florida, and a Certificate in SHRM-CP from Old Dominion University.
