Troy Garris

Troy Garris is a Co-Managing Partner and Managing Member at Garris Horn LLP, where since March 2018, expertise encompasses assisting mortgage bankers with compensation issues, regulatory compliance, and representation before federal and state regulators such as the CFPB and HUD. Prior to Garris Horn LLP, Garris served as a Partner at Weiner Brodsky Kider PC for 18 years, providing similar legal guidance and support in merger and acquisition transactions within the mortgage banking sector. Earlier professional experience includes work as an Appellate Attorney at the U.S. Surface Transportation Board and as a Foreign Specialist at Ritsumeikan University. Garris holds a Juris Doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Houston.
