Alwyn Elliott

Alwyn Elliott has extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Alwyn joined Garrison in 2019 and currently holds the position of Head of Hardware Engineering. Prior to this role, they served as Line Manager, Project Lead, and Senior Electronics Engineer at the same company from 2021 to 2022. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Project Lead and Senior Electronics Engineer at Garrison.

Before joining Garrison, Alwyn worked as a Senior Engineering Consultant at AMCC Consulting from 2015 to 2019.

Alwyn's earlier experience includes working at Imperial College London, where they held the role of Post-doctoral Research Associate from 2016 to 2017. During this time, they worked within the Power and Control Research group and focused on developing power electronics for LED lighting with a goal of achieving a power factor greater than 0.95. Prior to this role, they also served as a Ph.D. Student and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London from 2011 to 2016.

Additionally, Alwyn worked as an Imperial College Consultant at Imperial College Consultants from 2012 to 2017.

Alwyn Elliott completed their education at three different institutions. Alwyn attended Pate's Grammar School in Cheltenham from 1999 to 2006, where they earned their High School diploma. Later, from 2007 to 2011, they pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. After completing their Master's, Alwyn continued their education at Imperial College London, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Power Electronics used in Energy Harvesting between 2011 and 2015.
