Diego Chacon's work experience includes serving as a Senior Research Officer in Bioinformatics at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research since March 2021. They will also hold the role of Conjoint Lecturer at UNSW starting in March 2023. Prior to this, Diego was a Visiting Scholar, Tutor, and Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Technology Sydney from April 2018 to February 2022. They were also a Researcher PhD Candidate at the Prince of Wales Clinical School at UNSW from March 2014 to March 2018. Diego Chacon's education history starts with their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Telecommunications, which they obtained from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada from the year 2004 to 2008.
