James Ferguson

James Ferguson has extensive experience in genomic software engineering and bioinformatics, currently serving as a Genomics Software Engineer at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research since February 2016. Prior to this role, James held positions such as Genomic Systems Analyst and Research Assistant, focusing on algorithm development and research in Oxford nanopore sequencing. Additionally, James co-founded Cerebro Biosystems and worked as an Ultra Developer at Healius Limited, while also contributing as an analyst programmer at Primary Health Care Limited, where responsibilities included maintaining legacy laboratory information systems and managing confidential data.
