Aidan Cooney

Aidan Cooney is a Design Engineer at Gas Networks Ireland since December 2022, following a role as a Maintenance Technician at AMS - Architectural & Metal Systems from May 2019 to December 2022, and previous experience in similar positions at Aurivo Co-operative Society Limited and Cameron from May 2017 to May 2019 and October 2014 to May 2017, respectively. Aidan's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Energy Infrastructure from Technological University of the Shannon, currently in progress since September 2024, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Process & Engineering Management completed in June 2023 at the same institution. Additionally, Aidan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, obtained in May 2021, a Certificate in Polymer Technologies from 2019, and an Advanced Certificate in Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting completed between 2014 and 2018.
