Ken Hegarty

Ken Hegarty is an experienced professional in facilities operations and management, currently serving as the National Facilities Operations and Security Manager at Gas Networks Ireland since January 2022. Previously, Ken Hegarty held the position of Regional Facilities Manager at Ervia from May 2011 to December 2021 and worked as a Facilities Manager at both Johnson Controls and Pfizer. Early in the career, Ken Hegarty gained valuable experience as a Production Manager and Utilities Engineer at Archer Daniels Midland and as Chief Engineer at Cunard Line. Educational qualifications include a Class 1 Marine Engineer degree from Munster Technological University, a Master’s degree in Engineering and Management from the University of Portsmouth, and a Certificate in Health and Safety from Dublin City University.
