Martin Lambert

Martin Lambert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Research Fellow and Head of Hydrogen Research at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies since April 2017. In addition, Martin Lambert holds the position of Managing Director at Brightlands Energy and works as a Senior Associate at Gas Strategies, both since January 2017. Prior roles at Shell included Commercial Manager for Global LNG in both global and Australian divisions, alongside senior marketing and portfolio management positions from 1998 to 2016. Martin Lambert's career began at Shell Philippines Exploration, progressing through various leadership roles in product development and business management. Martin Lambert earned a Master’s degree in Economics and Engineering from the University of Cambridge between 1979 and 1982.
