Rahat Hussain

Rahat (Moon) Hussain is a highly experienced professional in the energy sector with a career spanning several decades and notable roles in prominent companies. Currently serving as a Managing Consultant at Gas Strategies and as Chair of the Risk and Operations Committee at Shell Pensions Trust Limited, Hussain specializes in addressing strategic and commercial challenges within the energy transition. Past positions include Senior Advisor at Mitsubishi Corporation, Senior Deal Principal and General Manager at Shell, and various leadership roles within Qatargas and Brunei LNG Sendirian Berhad. Hussain holds a BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester, along with advanced business management certifications from Harvard Business School and IMD.
