Yamilet Viera, CPC, COC, has extensive experience in coding operations, currently serving as the Director of Coding Operations at Gastro Health since December 2013. In this role, Yamilet oversees multi-state coding operations and collaborates with the Revenue Cycle Management Leadership Team to manage coding functions across various departments, including GI, Surgical, Ancillary, and Data Entry. Previously, Yamilet held multiple positions at CareCloud and Avisena, including Coding Operations Manager, Billing Specialist, and Ancillary Coding Specialist, gaining comprehensive expertise in billing and coding across various medical specialties. Yamilet holds education from Florida International University, where studies were completed between 2002 and 2004.
