Andrew Lamoyne

Andrew LaMoyne is an experienced mechanical design engineer with a diverse background in various industries, including optics and aerospace. Currently serving as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Gatan Inc. since June 2023, Andrew previously worked as an Opto-Mechanical Engineer at ATONARP INC, focusing on free space optics for fiber-based ultrafast lasers. Prior roles include Staff Mechanical Engineer at Lumentum, where Andrew specialized in commercial lasers R&D and product design, and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Finisar Corporation, responsible for fiber optic transceiver modules. Andrew's career also includes significant experience at Northrop Grumman Corporation in satellite payload electronics design, as well as manufacturing engineering at HITCO Carbon Composites. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, both from UCLA.
