Christopher Wedeles

Christopher Wedeles is a Senior Scientist at Gate Bioscience since November 2022, following a position as a Scientist at Alector from January 2021 to November 2022 and as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Genentech from May 2018 to January 2021. Expertise includes investigating the role of epigenome alterations in autoimmune diseases, employing advanced techniques such as 10x single-cell sequencing, CRISPR/Cas9 screening, and various genomic approaches. Christopher Wedeles holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Toronto (2011-2018) and an Honour BSc in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the same institution (2008-2011).
