Alan Roderick has extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Alan is currently the Head of Marketing at Gatehouse Bank plc since March 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Interim Head of Marketing & Communications at the same company starting from October 2017.
Before joining Gatehouse Bank, Alan worked at Monmouthshire Building Society for a significant period from April 2009 to March 2017. Alan held the position of Head of Marketing & E-Commerce and was responsible for various aspects of marketing operations, including strategic planning, corporate communications, product development, customer acquisition, digital marketing, and marketing risk and compliance. Alan also served as the Group Marketing Manager at Monmouthshire Building Society from December 2003 to March 2009, managing marketing operations for two subsidiary companies.
Earlier in their career, Alan worked at Principality Building Society as a Marketing Manager from August 1998 to December 2003, and at WESTERN MAIL & ECHO LIMITED as a Direct Marketing Manager from May 1994 to August 1998.
Alan Roderick's education history includes a qualification as a Prince 2 - Qualified Practitioner in Project Management from the year 2017, a certification in IOSH Managing Safely from the year 2013, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing from 1996 to 1998, and a degree in Business Studies from Wrexham University from 1985 to 1988.
