Patrick Owens

Patrick Owens has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Patrick currently holds the position of Director of Technology Strategy & Planning at Gates Ventures since October 2020. Prior to this, Patrick worked as an Information Technology Portfolio Manager at the same company from August 2018 to October 2020.

Before joining Gates Ventures, Patrick served as a Strategic Program Lead at Gates Archive from January 2015 to August 2016. Patrick played a key role in developing and implementing strategic programs.

Patrick's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Associate at Point B, Inc. from October 2008 to January 2015. Patrick held various roles of increasing responsibility and contributed to client projects in the consulting industry.

At Washington Mutual, Patrick gained extensive experience in technology and project management. Patrick began their career at PeopleSoft, Inc. in January 2000 as an HRMS Consultant. During their time with the company, they held various roles, including Certified Senior HRMS Consultant, where they played a significant role in benefits administration, base benefits architecture, and interface team leadership.
