Ryan Fitzgerald

Ryan Fitzgerald started their work experience as a Research Fellow at the Duke University Center for Global Women's Health Technologies in August 2017. Ryan worked in this role until May 2019. In April 2018, Ryan became a Student Researcher at Duke University, Bass Connections, ending their position in May 2019 as well. From September 2019 to June 2022, Ryan worked as a Post Bachelor Fellow at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation. Currently, they are employed as a Child Health Analyst at Gates Ventures starting in June 2022.

Ryan Fitzgerald's education history includes obtaining a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Washington, which was completed between 2019 and 2022. Prior to that, they attended Duke University from 2015 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Global Health. During their time at Duke University, they participated in two summer programs: one in 2017 at the Organization for Tropical Studies, focusing on Global Health, and another in 2016 at Duke in Australia, with a focus on Environmental Science.
