Matthew Lapolice

Matthew Lapolice started their work experience in 2017 at Mark VII Equipment Inc. where they initially served as a Business Development Manager. In this role, they successfully grew the sales territory from $400k to $3.5 million by identifying and closing sales agreements with prospective customers in targeted markets. Matthew also developed a strong understanding of the target markets and utilized market strategies to attract and retain business.

Later, Matthew transitioned to the role of Distributor Manager at Mark VII Equipment Inc. in January 2021. In this position, they managed the Ontario sales territory as well as territories in BC, Alberta, and Manitoba. However, they left the company in February 2023.

Currently, Matthew serves as the Director - Industrial Sales Canada at Gates Corporation, a role they started in February 2023. In this position, they oversee the Industrial Replacement and First Fit Markets in Canada and manages a team of 8 District Sales Managers. Matthew'sresponsibilities also include developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth in the industrial sector.

Matthew Lapolice has a Business Diploma from Mohawk College in Business/Commerce, General. Matthew also holds certifications in Managing Small Projects and Microsoft® Project 2013 Essential Training from Lynda.com, as well as Joint Health and Safety Committee Member Certification from the Ministry of Labour. Matthew also has certification as a Construction Health and Safety Officer from Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA).
