Azim Ross

Azim Ross, LPC, is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in supporting the development of African American young men. Currently serving as the Senior Program Director at Gateway Homes, Inc. since April 2019, Azim also founded and leads the Off the Block Foundation, established in November 2015. Previous roles include a Resident Counselor at Intensive Community Outreach Services and a Youth Development Counselor at Pride Youth Services, where Azim focused on fostering social development and facilitating the transition to manhood. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Community Support Specialist at Affordable Behavioral Consultants, emphasizing emotional and social growth for underserved youth. Azim holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Bio-Psychology from Wagner College.
