Hock Lim

Hock Lim has extensive work experience in the field of data architecture and management. Hock began their career in 1996 as a Teradata DBA at Delta Technology, where they designed and developed database tables, views, and stored procedures. During this time, they also optimized database queries and conducted peer design and code reviews. In 2004, they joined Teradata as a Senior Consultant and Architect, leading multiple projects in industries such as CPG, Finance, and Healthcare. Notably, they completed and implemented Modern Trade Programs at Coca-Cola Refreshment, which significantly improved planning and budgeting processes. Hock then moved to The Coca-Cola Company in 2014, working as a Senior Solution and Data Architect. In this role, they served as the primary solution architect for various portfolios and led the implementation of Fuzzy Logix's DB Lytix POC for in-database analytics, resulting in a significant reduction in runtime. Hock also acted as the Teradata and Integration Architect for the Marketing Reimbursement Project, enabling Coca-Cola to effectively manage multi-billion dollar payments. After two years, Hock joined Aaron's, Inc in 2017 as a Senior Manager of Data Science, and later in 2019, they joined Teradata again as a Senior Manager and Customer Success Manager for various clients. Currently, Hock holds the position of Principal Data Architect at Gather Sciences, starting in 2023.

Hock Lim obtained a BBA in MIS from the University of Oklahoma.
