Judi Otteson

Judi Otteson has extensive experience in the legal and business fields. Judi began their career in 1991 as a Bilingual Social Worker for the Santa Clara County Social Services Agency. In 1997, they became a Deputy Public Defender for the Santa Clara County Office of the Public Defender. From 2000 to 2004, they were an Associate Corporate Counsel for @Road, Inc., where they were the main interface for the legal department with the sales department in structuring, drafting and managing sales agreements. In 2004, they became a Partner/Attorney at Wade & Silverstein, APC. From 2008 to 2019, they were the Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at NeoPhotonics, a global, publically traded company listed on the NYSE. In 2019, they became the Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Silicon Valley-based technology company Matterport, Inc. (NSDQ:MTTR). In 2022, they will become the General Counsel for Gatik and a Board Member for WeDeliverWheels. Additionally, they have been a Board Member of the Paralegal Advisory Board for De Anza College since 2006 and a Contract Corporate Counsel/Consultant for NanoGram Corporation since 2009.

Judi Otteson received their JD from Rutgers Law School in 1996, their MSW from San Jose State University in 1991, and their B.A from San Francisco State University in Anthropology. In 2012, they obtained a Certified Corporate Ethics and Compliance Professional certification from the Society for Corporate Compliance and Ethics.
