Peter Roggekamp

Peter Roggekamp is an experienced professional in the fields of agriculture, infrastructure, and international development. Currently serving as Portfolio Director at Gatsby Africa since April 2022, Peter's previous roles include Chief Executive Officer and Director of Aquaculture at Msingi East Africa, as well as Team Leader for the DFAT-funded Investing in Infrastructure program at Palladium: Make It Possible from August 2015 to September 2019. Peter was also the Team Leader for the CAVAC program with Australian Aid / DFAT from January 2009 to August 2015 and held the position of General Manager at GIZ from December 2002 to December 2008. Prior experience includes working as a Small Enterprise Specialist with the International Labour Organization and as a Mechanical Engineer at Badger Engineering. Peter holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
