Shaan Varia

Shaan Varia is a seasoned product and engineering leader currently serving as VP of Product at Gauntlet since April 2021 and as a Board Advisor and Investor at SpaceBasic since March 2021. Previously, Shaan held the position of Senior Software Engineering Manager at Google from August 2016 to April 2021, where significant contributions included cofounding Question Hub, a tool designed to assist content creators in identifying content gaps on the web, while also leading engineering efforts from the product's inception to scaling. Shaan began the career at Google as a Software Engineering Intern in 2014 and 2015 after gaining initial experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Cleo in 2013. Shaan holds a degree from Carnegie Mellon University, attended the United World College of South East Asia, and continues to leverage a strong foundation in engineering and product management.
