Megan McCracken has had a long and varied career in the financial industry. Megan began their career in 2009 as a Board Member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Club in Great Britain. In 2011, they joined Citi as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Strategic Programs, where they designed Citi's strategy to reduce costs, improve competitiveness, and enhance client experience in Corporate Banking. In 2014, they moved to HSBC as Director of Group Strategy and Chief of Staff Office, where they designed the global strategy, governance and implementation plan to deliver value from HSBC's network. In 2016, they joined Marex Spectron as Global Head of Strategy, where they created a new strategy department for the CEO and Board in order to optimize the corporate portfolio, build strategic capabilities, and deliver improved competitiveness and profitability. In 2019, they joined Fidelity International as a Board Apprentice at Fidelity China Special Situations plc, Reason Digital as a Board Member and Remuneration Committee, and FOLK2FOLK as Non-Executive Director, Remuneration Chair and Audit Committee. In 2021, they joined State Street as Non Executive Director at State Street Trustees Limited, and in 2022 they joined Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. as Non Executive Director at Hargreave Hale AIM VCT PLC, and GB Bank as Senior Independent Director.

Megan McCracken has a diverse educational background. Megan obtained a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2000. In 2004, they earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, with a focus in Strategy and Finance. Megan also completed an International Exchange program at the London Business School in 2006. In 2010, they attended Harvard Business School for an Executive Education program in International Business. Most recently, in 2018, they completed the FT Non-Executive Director Programme, obtaining a Master’s Degree Equivalent Diploma in Corporate Governance and Board Effectiveness, as well as a Pearson SRF BTEC Level 7 Advanced Professional Diploma.
