Mariemma Hernández

Mariemma Hernández has over 12 years of experience in software engineering and development. From 2018 to present, they have worked as a Senior Software Engineer at OV Loop, where they have developed front-end architecture, determined software requirements and model specifications using UML 2, and designed, developed, implemented and maintained front-end applications on React + Bootstrap. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as an Engineer at Samsung Electronics America, where they consulted and documented functional and technical specifications, identified, documented and communicated technical and functional issues, and lead and co-ordinated methodologies and software architecture. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Web Developer at LoopPay, where they consulted and documented user interface and user experience specifications, prepared demos and presentations to stakeholders and team members, and designed, wrote, modified and integrated web applications related code. From 2008 to 2014, they worked as a Programmer Analyst at Corcaribe Tecnología C.A., where they developed open source technological solutions, custom software development using languages such as Perl/Catalyst, PHP/Symfony or Java/Spring, wrote Java-based web applications in Spring 4.2 Framework and JQuery, and used Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (Kepler) and Apache Maven3 using Agile (Scrum) and Test-Driven Methodologies (TDD) supported by JUnit 4.

Mariemma Hernández attended George Brown College from 2016 to 2017, studying Business Analysis. Mariemma then attended Universidad Nacional Experimental Politécnica 'Antonio José de Sucre' from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a System Engineer degree. Mariemma also obtained several certifications, including an Information System Business Analysis certification from International Institute of Business Analysis - Bulgaria Chapter and George Brown College in 2016, an IBM Advanced Career Education Application Development Certificate in 2009, an IBM Advanced Career Education Programming Fundamental Certificate in 2008, and an IBM Advanced Career Education IT and Networking Fundamental Certificate in 2008.
