Melanie Cote

Ms. Côté has worked most of her career in a mine located in Nunavik, where she has held, among others, the positions of senior engineer in the mining engineering department as well as environmental superintendent. Her skills are broad in these two areas, ranging from mine planning and design to the development and implementation of a mine restoration plan, while ensuring cohesion between mining operations and environmental, societal, and corporate requirements. Throughout her career, Ms. Côté has gained experience with ISO 14001 (2015), ISO 9001 (2015) and ISO 14064-1-2 (2018, 2019) standards in writing different type of reports and by participating in audits (internal et external of the organization). Finally, she taught two university courses in mining engineering as a lecturer.
