Chris Jones

Chris Jones has a background in civil engineering and software development. Chris has experience working in geotechnical engineering, specializing in materials testing machines and software. Chris currently holds the position of Software Product Manager and Senior Geotechnical Support Engineer at GDS Instruments. Prior to this, Chris worked as a Student Geotechnical Engineer at Jones & Wagener (Pty) Ltd. Jones completed their education with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering with Computing from the University of Surrey, followed by postgraduate studies in Software Development at The Open University.
