Pierre Bucaille

Pierre Bucaille is an experienced professional with a robust background in project development and economic analysis. Currently serving as Project Lead Developer at GDS International since January 2023, Pierre focuses on energy access via solar mini-grid projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, overseeing all project phases from tender submission to financial closing. Prior to this role, Pierre was a Project Developer with GENERALE DU SOLAIRE, where responsibilities included project sizing, feasibility studies, and financial modeling. Experience also includes positions as a Junior Analyst at PM Conseil, an Economic & Geopolitics Analyst at Groupe Crédit Agricole, and a Consultant at YMAGO Conseil, where Pierre engaged in strategic advisory and financial analysis. Pierre holds a Master’s degree in Public Policies from Sciences Po and a Bachelor's degree from the same institution, complemented by studies at Peking University.
