Jerry Bieniek started their career as an Engineering Intern at Standard Aero in 2008. In this role, they were responsible for dispositioning parts that were out of tolerance and developing repair tooling and techniques.
Jerry then joined Siemens Energy in 2010 as part of the Engineering Development Program, where they completed three six-month rotations across different product lines. These rotations included design engineering, customer order engineering, and service engineering. From January 2012 to July 2014, Jerry worked as a Heat Transfer Engineer at Siemens Energy, performing heat transfer analysis for blades and vanes in industrial gas turbines.
In 2014, Jerry joined GE Aviation as a Lead Engineer, where they provided support for fielded LM2500 engines and also served as the Aeroderivative Module Owner for the LM2500 HSPT. Jerry was responsible for leading design teams and providing systems-level support. Jerry then transitioned to the role of Lead Performance Engineer at GE Aviation in February 2019, where they supported pre-conceptual design activities for military customers using numerical design tools.
Overall, Jerry has gained extensive experience in engineering and has held various technical roles in the aviation and energy industries.
Jerry Bieniek earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 2003 to 2008. Jerry then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field from the same university from 2008 to 2010.
