Ian Arlen

Ian Arlen has a diverse work experience in software quality assurance and computer science-related roles. Ian currently holds the position of Software Quality Assurance Team Lead at GE Appliances, a Haier company since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Software QA Automation Engineer at GE Appliances from March 2018 to December 2021, during which they were employed by Modis. Ian also gained experience as a Computer Lab Assistant at UNC Asheville from August 2014 to May 2017. Ian served as a Teaching Assistant for ECE 200 at NC State University from August 2016 to December 2016. Additionally, Ian interned as a Telematics Verification Engineer at Volvo Group Trucks Technology from May 2016 to August 2016.

Ian Arlen attended North Carolina State University from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. During the same period, they also attended the University of North Carolina Asheville and obtained another Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in the same field. From 2011 to 2013, Ian Arlen studied at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, although no degree or field of study is specified. In 2018, they received the Engineer in Training (EIT) certification from the Kentucky State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
