Steve Hagger

Steve Hagger is an experienced network project manager currently working at GÉANT since February 2020. Prior to this role, Steve served as a pre-sales consultant at Arrow ECS United Kingdom, providing technical support and proof-of-concept solutions from October 2016 to February 2020, specializing in Forescout, Juniper, and F5 products. Steve also owned L3n, a company focused on designing and configuring IP-based solutions predominantly using Cisco products, from 2002 to 2012. Earlier career highlights include serving as Senior Manager of EMEA Network Engineering at UUNET, where responsibilities included developing the EMEA backbone and new technologies, and as Network Development Manager at PIPEX, where Steve played a significant role in launching the UK's first business-focused internet service and successfully deploying advanced networking solutions. Steve's foundational experience as a network engineer at PIPEX involved designing and building the UK’s IP backbone infrastructure.
