Justin Parkhurst has held a variety of roles in the action sports and lifestyle industry since 2006. In 2006, they were the Co-Owner and Marketing Coordinator at FUNhat, LLC. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Production/Assistant Photographer for Photographer Jim Mangan, where they were responsible for casting models, location scouting, creative direction with final prints, and exhibition presentation. In 2010, they were a Sample Coordinator- Softgoods at Skullcandy Inc. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Brand Partnership Manager at YoBeat, where they led role in successfully delivering multimedia digital campaigns from brands like Dakine, Burton, Nike, Skullcandy, and Adidas. In 2014, they became the Founder of Daze Media, a sales and marketing agency, managing the brand partnerships for influential and independent publishers in the action sports and lifestyle categories. Finally, they are currently the Southwest Advertising Director at Gear Patrol, where they are managing key accounts in the southern California area by developing strategic partnerships, advertising sales, and content creation. Gear Patrol was selected as the 2015 best lifestyle site by the Webby Awards.
Justin Parkhurst attended Westminster College from 2006 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing. Prior to that, they were enrolled at Baldwin Wallace University from 2004 to 2006, also studying Business Marketing. Justin also holds a certification in Adobe Creative Suite & Web Design from the University of Utah Continuing Education.
