Bernhard Mayer

Bernhard Mayer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Bernhard began their career as a Trainee at Hilti in 2011 before moving on to work as a Diplomand at the Departement Metallkunde und Werkstoffprüfung. In 2012, they joined Hirtenberger Defence Systems GmbH & Co KG as a Predevelopment Engineer, where they worked until 2016. From 2016 to 2022, Bernhard held multiple positions at Gebauer & Griller, including Lead Engineer Metal Components and Manager Component Engineering. Their most recent role at Gebauer & Griller is as the Global Head of Component Engineering, a position they assumed in April 2022. Prior to their current position, they worked at the Institut für Metallkunde und Werkstoffprüfung as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in 2010-2011.

Bernhard Mayer received their Matura (A-Levels) in Biomedizintechnik (Biomedical Engineering) from HTL - TGM Wien 20 in the years 2001-2006. Bernhard later attended Montanuniversität Leoben from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Werkstoffwissenschaften (Materials Science).
