Tracy Hampton

Tracy Hampton has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and insurance industry. Tracy started their career in 2006 at UPMC Health Plan as an Insurance Recovery Specialist, where they handled reporting, account reconciliations, and assisted clients with patient balance inquiries. From 2012 to 2015, Tracy worked as a Billing Coordinator/Claim Specialist at Metro Community Health Center Practice, managing all aspects of healthcare billing, claim processing, and insurance appeals. Tracy then joined Highmark BCBS/AHN Health System in 2015 as an Insurance Follow-up/Claim Analyst, focusing on monitoring denials, appeals, and claim errors to secure timely payments. In 2017, Tracy joined Denial Recovery Group as a Revenue/Follow-Up Specialist, where they managed the operational management of revenue cycle activities and provided continual follow-up and denials management on outstanding accounts. Most recently, in 2021, Tracy became an Insurance Consultant at GeBBS Consulting. Throughout their career, Tracy has excelled in claims processing, collections management, reimbursement methodologies, and providing excellent customer service in the healthcare industry.

Tracy Hampton attended the Western School of Business and Health Career from 1989 to 1990, where they earned Certification Credentials in the field of Social Sciences. From 1990 to 1995, they studied at the Community College of Allegheny County, earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
