Betelhem Tesfaye

Betelhem Tesfaye has extensive experience in product management and project management roles. Betelhem is currently working as a Lead Product Manager at Gebeya Inc. where they develop product strategy, maintains the product backlog, and analyzes product metrics. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Manager at Cognize and as a Product Lead at Lersha, where they were responsible for defining product roadmaps and collaborating with development teams. Betelhem has also worked as a Project Manager/Product owner at Excellerent Solutions and as a Software Product Manager at Pagatech Limited. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Software Project Manager at Apposit LLC, Project Manager at MG software Consultancy, Senior System Analyst at MG Solutions TI, and Software Programmer at Marakisoft Technologies Pvt.Ltd.Co. Throughout their career, Betelhem has demonstrated strong leadership, technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Betelhem Tesfaye obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Addis Ababa University in 2010. Betelhem then pursued a Master of Science degree in Project Planning and Management from YOM Institute of Economic Development from 2018 to 2020. Prior to their university education, they attended Meskkaye Hizuna Medhanealem Monastry School from 1994 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Joomla! and A+ (computer maintenance) from Addis Ababa University in 2011 and 2008, respectively.
