Matthias Frese

Matthias Frese has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Matthias currently holds the position of Vice President Purchasing at Gebr. Heller Maschinenfabrik GmbH since February 2022. Before that, they worked as the Director Global Sourcing at Bizerba SE&Co.KG from July 2016 to February 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director Operational Purchasing at Schuler Group from May 2012 to June 2016. Matthias also served as the Leiter strategischer Einkauf at MAG-IAS from April 2007 to May 2012. Additionally, they had roles at MAG IAS, LLC as Strat. Einkauf Task Force from 2005 to 2007, and at Thyssenkrupp Cross Hüller as Leiter Baugruppenmontage/Industrial Engineering/Projektleiter Inbetriebnahme from December 1998 to May 2005.

Matthias Frese completed their undergraduate education at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences from 1993 to 1997, earning a degree in Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering). Additionally, in 1995-1996, they studied at Universidad de Zaragoza in Spain, focusing on Maschinenbau.
