Dimitris Stathis has a diverse range of experience in the field of UX design. Dimitris is currently working at Geekbot as a UX Lead, where their responsibilities include developing and driving the UX strategy, conducting user research, and translating insights into actionable design recommendations. Prior to this, they worked as a UX Designer at Geekbot, focusing on delivering an optimal experience to users. Dimitris is also involved in the UX community as an Organizer and Co-Founder of UX Greece, organizing online events and hosting notable guests. Dimitris has previous experience as a UX Designer at Toptal, where they worked on user research, product conceptualization, and design facilitation. Additionally, Dimitris has worked as a freelance UX Designer, gaining experience in usability testing, user interviews, product design, and more. Dimitris has also held positions at Fieldscale, Hellenic Design Centre, NRC Europe, Fieratex S.A., Dimitris Sarris - Computer Systems Development Company, and Karapantsiou Educational Organization, further expanding their skills and expertise in the industry.

Dimitris Stathis holds a Master's Degree in Architectural Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), obtained between 2007 and 2014. Dimitris also completed a long-distance learning program in User eXperience Design from Springboard, receiving a participation and accomplishment certificate in 2018. In the same year, they completed a similar program in Human Computer Interaction Specialization - User eXperience Design from UC San Diego through Coursera. In 2012, Dimitris attended Czech Technical University in Prague for Landscape Architecture and Visual Design, although the degree obtained is not specified. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Design Doing and Design Thinking from Business Models Inc. in 2020, becoming a Certified Facilitator of LEGO Serious Play Method and Materials from SERIOUSWORK > LEGO Serious Play Facilitation Training in 2019, and obtaining a UX Design certification from Springboard in 2019 as well. Dimitris has completed multiple other courses and workshops related to user experience design between 2016 and 2018. Dimitris is also a licensed Architect Engineer recognized by the Technical Chamber of Greece in 2016. Moreover, they pursued a Lifelong Learning program on Restoration and Reuse of Historical Buildings and Complexes from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2015.
