Shangdong Gong

Shangdong Gong is a System Consultant at Geek+ since July 2023, bringing extensive experience in robotics and software engineering. Prior to this role, Shangdong served as a Sr. Robotics Software Engineer at Dorabot from May 2019 to July 2023, and previously held positions as a Robotics Software Engineer there. Shangdong also contributed as a Research Assistant at the University of South Florida between January 2014 and May 2019, focusing on humanoid motion generation and optimal control, while implementing various algorithms and modeling techniques. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Graduate Research Assistant, where Shangdong worked on projects involving teleoperation simulation and robotic system integration. Shangdong completed a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida.
