Electronics Engineer II at Geeks and Nerds

David Hugee-James, EIT has diverse work experience, starting as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Operations Technician in the US Army. David later supervised an Explosive Ordnance Disposal team and managed 44 personnel in security operations for state law enforcement agencies. David worked as a Tooling Technician, maintaining and preparing remotely operated vehicular (ROV) tools and packages for offshore use at Oceaneering. At CGI, they worked as an Application Developer/Senior Trainer in support of the Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT) system, providing full life cycle activities to test and implement application releases. Currently, they work as an Electronics Engineer II at Geeks and Nerds (GaN Corporation), where they develop test plans to evaluate electrical, mechanical, and computer systems of vehicles like M1A2 Abrams battle tank, and supports analysis phases for different systems.

David Hugee-James, EIT has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. David also has an Associate's degree in General Studies from Central Texas College. In addition to their degrees, David has obtained certifications in Subsea Robotics from IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association) in November 2014, and Engineer-in-Training from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in September 2018.
