Patrick van de Werdt has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Patrick is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Geelen Counterflow. Prior to this, they worked at BDR Thermea Group in various roles, including Global Operations and Supply Chain Director, Managing Director of BDR Thermea HVAC (China) Co.,Ltd, Managing Director of BDR Thermea Heating Equipment (Shanghai) Co.,Ltd, and Global Quality Director. Before that, they worked at Inalfa Roofsystems as a Global Lean Coach and Manager of Quality and Operational Excellence. Patrick'searlier experience includes working at VDL Nedcar as a Performance Management Coordinator and Production Area Manager in the Final Assembly Shop. Overall, Patrick has a strong background in operations, supply chain, quality management, and lean methodologies.

Patrick van de Werdt has a diverse education history. Patrick obtained an MBA in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from Alliance Manchester Business School from 2017 to 2019. In 2020 to 2021, they attended the Center for Creative Leadership and pursued a degree in Executive Leadership Coaching. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Lean/Sustainable Growth from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in 2010 to 2011. In 2002 to 2004, they studied Technische Bedrijfskunde at Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, they pursued Total Quality Management at Centrum voor Kwaliteits Zorg (CKZ) Diepenbeek in 2000 to 2001. Patrick also obtained a Lean Coach certification from Lean Enterprise Research Centre (LERC).
