Nripesh Parajuli

Nripesh Parajuli is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at GE HealthCare, part of the Caption team since September 2023. Previously, Nripesh held roles at Caption Health, progressing from Machine Learning Engineer to Senior Machine Learning Engineer from November 2017 to May 2024, focusing on training and validating deep learning models. Prior academic experience includes a PhD researcher position at the Yale Medical School's Image Processing and Analysis Group from August 2012 to October 2017, and serving as a Teaching Fellow in various biomedical and computing courses at Yale University. Internships at IBM Research and Bell Laboratories provided experience in medical image analysis and web application development, respectively. Nripesh holds a PhD in Medical Imaging and a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Yale University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Lafayette College.
