Abby Kelman

Abby (Abigail) Kelman is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial contracting and legal support across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Counsel II at GEICO since October 2024, Abby previously held the position of Senior Director of Legal at Eightfold, where leadership of the legal team involved commercial contract support and training. Prior roles include Deputy General Counsel at DMI, overseeing commercial business legal matters; Director of Contracts at Raytheon, focusing on software licensing; and Director of Legal at LogiXML. Abby began their career at Progress Software, progressing from Senior Corporate Counsel to Director of Licensing & Business Agreements. Educationally, Abby earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Maryland.
